Our Open House is Tuesday, September 19th. We can’t wait to meet you and share information about the classes your student is taking this semester/year at PCHS. Please see the following information for the format this year.

Optional Sessions: 5:30 PM

  • Reproductive Health (Sex Ed) for those parents who have a student in Health class this year, with Mrs. Winkler in Room B103

  • PIRATE Academy Q&A, with Mr. Kroll in Room A212

  • 9th Grade Curriculum Questions, with Mrs. Corey in the Media Center

  • Costa Rica Trip Parent Meeting for Spanish and Biology students, with Mrs. Trosin & Mrs. Strobe in Room B210

  • New Tech High Q&A to answer your “Need to Knows” about the New Tech model and program here at Pinckney, Room C203/204 with Mrs. McBride and Mr. Ozias

Follow your student’s schedule classes 1-7th hour from 6:00-8:00 PM.

HAT Day

Every week the administrators go from class to class looking for a class that meets the HAT requirements. The requirements are: all Homework is turned in, everyone is in Attendance, and no one was Tardy (HAT).

Ms. Beger and Mrs. Maurer’s 6th hour classes won last Friday. Thank you Taco Bell for the donation! When you visit Taco Bell, please let them know the Pirate Community appreciates their support.

Staffulty of the Month

12 2016 staffultyEach month one member of the Pinckney Community High School staff and faculty (known here as STAFFULTY) is selected to receive this award. Once the results are in the numbers are crunched and the winner is decided.

Ms. Katie Beger was chosen by her students at PCHS as Staffulty of Month for November 2016. Her students say: 

  • She is very good at teaching, and she is always there to help. 
  • She is very fun and energetic. 
  • She is strict when she has to be, but lives to have fun while getting work done.
  • She is always cheerful, and she is a really nice person.
  • She is hard working and will always help someone who is struggling.
  • She makes English fun and understandable.
  • She has funny jokes.
  • I like how she is always in a good mood.

HAT DAYS

Every week a member of the Renaissance initative goes from class to class looking for a class that meets the HAT requirements.  The requirements are: all students in the class have their Homework turned in, everyone is in Attendance, and no one was Tardy (HAT).
